Canada upsets Spain in a thrilling tie

Canada pulled off a major upset in the Davis Cup Finals group stage, defeating Spain 2-1 in a thrilling tie. Denis Shapovalov gave Canada the early lead with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Pablo Carreno Busta. Roberto Bautista Agut leveled the tie for Spain with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Felix Auger-Aliassime. Italy advances with a perfect record

Italy advanced to the semifinals with a perfect 3-0 record in the group stage. Lorenzo Sonego defeated Diego Schwartzman 6-1, 6-2, and Jannik Sinner defeated Federico Delbonis 6-3, 7-5 to give Italy an early 2-0 lead. In the doubles match, Sonego and Sinner defeated Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni 6-2, 6-4 to seal the tie for Italy.

Germany wins a tight tie against Australia
